How and why did you get interested in journalism?: I saw the amazing potential in it to reach massive amounts of people. It strikes me as one of the most powerful means of spreading the love of Christ.
What was your first job?: cook at a restaurant. haha

Hobbies?: playing guitar, writing music
Favorite book? TV show? Movie?: book: “The Picture of Dorian Gray” tv show: Lost Movie: “The Prestige,” I don’t have one
What do you like best about living in Tigerville SC?: Umm… all the fun stuff we have to do!
What does “A Different Kind of College Radio” mean to you?”: It means that WNGR stands out among other college radio stations. We strive to be as professional as possible with all that we do, all the while spreading the message and love of Jesus Christ.
Who inspires you? How and why?: My parents. They have done so much for me that I could never thank them enough. They have always been so supportive of anything that I have wanted to do. They have provided for me and cared for me as I’ve gone through life. I wouldn’t be where I am today without their help. Because of all this, they inspire me to do the best that I can with everything that I do.

What did you want to be when you grew up?: Influential
Where did you attend college and what did you study?: North Greenville University; B.A. Broadcast Media Production, 2012
How and why did you get interested in journalism?: I’m not interested in journalism, I’m interested in media and live event production. I went to a lighting seminar in seventh grade and that started my passion for lighting design
What was your first job?: I got hired in seventh grade to run the lighting and sound for a dance recital
What is your most memorable story you’ve ever covered?: The most memorable event I have ever designed lights for was a musical at North Oconee High School. We basically converted the proscenium stage into a black box and did the production in-the-round
Funniest moment on the job?: Every day we record the Vision 48 News has a lot of humor. Can I publicly thank Stephen Lane for his comic relief?
Hobbies?: Photography, Videography, Horticulture

What you like best about living in Tigerville SC?: Seeing the mountains every day
What does “A Different Kind of College Radio” mean to you?: We aren’t just training in a practical, working station, we are producing quality content and relaying it in a professional fashion.
Who inspires you? How and why?: The people I follow on Twitter. Many are industry professionals or CEOs and I am able to ask them questions and communicate with them about being a real person. I ask questions and they give input, they ask questions and I give input, it goes back to tribal communication (tribute to @justinthesouth of Social Village).

What did you want to be when you grew up?: A Radio DJ for a while. Ultimately a position at a Christian record label.
Where did you attend college and what did you study?: North Greenville University – Broadcast Media
How and why did you get interested in journalism?: Not sure. I just know I have a passion for it.
What was your first job?: Janitor at my home church. Still working there.
What is your the memorable story you’ve ever covered?: n/a
Funniest moment on the job?: When I played music from my laptop over the air, when another song was already playing.
Hobbies?: Playing music. Going to concerts and open mic nights.
Favorite book? TV show? Movie?: Other than the Bible, the Twilight Saga, The Big Bang Theory, Pride and Prejudice/Beauty and the Beast.
What you like best about living in Tigerville SC?: Being so close to the mountains!

Who inspires you? How and why?: My friends and family. They have all been through so much and encourage me to be better at what I do. They keep me sane and humble.
